The Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (HMDS) laboratory is situated on the first floor of the Alexander Donald Building at the Western General Hospital.  Enquiries in person may be made at the pathology reception desk, situated at the entrance to the pathology department.

The laboratory is open between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs, Monday to Friday. The laboratory is closed on national bank holidays. There is no ‘Out of Hours’ service available, however investigations may be performed by special arrangement after discussion with a member of our team.
