Transport arrangements
Useful in: Patients who have been resident abroad with symptoms. Epilepsy, calcified lesions in brain and limbs and/or eosinophilia.
Processed at the Hospital of Tropical Diseases, London. Please send to the RIE for forwarding. Transport as soon as is practicable.

Store at room temperature.

5-10ml (minimum 1ml) clotted blood/serum (brown cap blood)

Via TRAK - 'microbiology serology' - specify symptoms, travel history, and organism to be tested in 'clinical details' field
