Adult ranges for renin:
Supine (at least 30 min) 5 - 40 mIU/L
Erect (at least 1 h), 16 - 63 mIU/L
Sitting (at least 15 min), 5 - 45 mIU/L
 
Paediatric Renin (PRC) supine reference range:
Neonates <1 week: range not available
Infants 1 week – 1 month: 10 – 450 mIU/L
Children 1 month – 10 years: 8 – 200 mIU/L

Children 10 years – 16 years: 8 – 70 mIU/L
